'Router has been disconnected' message

Hi, I have a problem…
Router has been just installed.
After installation I have assigned one IP the address 192.168.52.1 to the interface ‘ether3’ (with ‘setup’ tool) and when I try to connect to router I receive the ‘Router has been disconnected’ message.

I tried to reboot, reinstall, mac-telnet and IP, clean install (only system and ppp packages)…

SSH working fine. WinBox not.

Interesting fact:

[admin@MikroTik] > tool mac-scan

MAC-ADDRESS ADDRESS AGE
00:17:31:36:C9:7E 192.168.52.10 1
00:15:17:61:9D:AE 192.168.52.10 1

The first MAC is a realy MAC of 192.168.52.10
The second MAC is a router’s(!) ‘ether3’ interface MAC

Hardware: x86 PC (1U server with 3 network cards)
Intel 82573E Gbe
Intel 82541PI Gbe
Intel PRO/1000 PT Dual Port

What to do?

P.S. After 10+ reinstalls OS has not found a license and generated new Software ID !
But we have already bought the license for old Software ID.

Sorry for my bad english, my native language is russian.

Greetings!

What etherX device is this “realy MAC” associated with?
00:17:31:36:C9:7E

And this is ether3?
00:15:17:61:9D:AE

I have this trouble occasionally on a Realtek Gigabit port. It will end up with two MACS sometimes, and not just on RouterOS, but any O.S.
I do not know why. :frowning:

00:17:31:36:C9:7E is my machine with WinXP. I tried 3 network adapters from realtek, marvell yukon and noname…
00:15:17:61:9D:AE is an ether3 interface of a router

I tried with 2 switch from dlink and acorp…
Tried with cross-cable…

In all cases the problem exists…

If those are different machines, they are showing the same IP address. Can’t do that. Well, I mean you can obviously, but you shouldn’t.

Reset the network settings on the machine that is supposed to be 192.168.52.1. I think it is set to the wrong IP. Looks like both are on 192.168.52.10
