"Router has been disconnected" using Mac

For some reason, I am unable to connect to any of my Mikrotik boards with Winbox after doing a system reset (on my laptop only ,works from the desktop). If I have an IP address, I can connect fine.

I have the ethernet cable connected directed to the computer and am using the discovery button … to find the router. When I try to connect, it connects for about 10 seceonds, then it says “router has been disconnected”.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this. It is really irritating.

do you have dual nics ? or more than 1 nic enabled at a time ? try disabling all but the one you are using to connect with.

All other network connections have been disabled.

i have this problem with my notebook that have a realtek onboard nic.

my friend with a broadcon , the mac access work great.

this usually happens when more than one person tries to discover/connect over MAC.

Hello normis

Not. I have two machines, and I happen to just one.
