Model : RB1100AHx2
The device itself is set with public ip address but not able to ping the internet. All back end devices no problem.
Any config missed out? 
Do you have firewall configured? Can you ping the same host from any device which is behind the router? Did you try to ping IP or just a hostname?

yes i have firewall configured but just a few rules from official site KB. Block DDoS etc. servers behind with public IP which is good. I tried pinging 8.8.8.8 result is time out. all port set as bridge. eth1 going to WAN/uplink. could be bad idea..
something really wrong with my setup in DC rack but don’t really know what went wrong. I’m a total network noob
