Hello everyone, I’ve had this issue with my new Galaxy A34 just on my Mikrotik Wifi network. After some time on the network it just kicks me out and lately I can’t even connect. My phone just says Connection failed and when I go into wifi diagnostics in settings it says L2_CONNECTION_FAILED and the discconectReason is 6(couldn’t find the explanation anywhere on the internet,I don’t know if it’s Samsung specific I don’t really understand what most of the stuff there means) . I can’t seem to find the connection attempt in the logs either. I have a Mikrotik Chateau with RouterOS 7.1 .The wifi works fine on every other device other than this one though. If you have any suggestions please help
Try to upgrade as there were a lot of changes to wireless packages
I had exact same situation few years ago with only one (new) Toshiba laptop and i discovered that the WiFi channel was set to “auto” on Mikrotik. After changing it to a “static” channel everything is fine.
Maybe it’s a clue in your case.
Hello, I’ve tried both updating software( now I’m on RouterOS 7.10.2) and I’ve already had it on a set frequency so it was not on auto and still the issue persists. Got no clue what to do now
Share your config with your friends @thisforum and let them have a look at it. Sure it can be solved…
My best guess…still using an older security setting…but the export will show:
/export file=anynameyoulike
Hello, this is my config file. I havent changed anything since i got the router(except the recent update to 7.10.2) so it very well could be some outdated setting
