Hi,
I am learning to work with terminal in WinBox. The one command I am not able to find is mode of router. In QuickSet there is dropdown menu in top left part of screen where I can choose from few different modes. Where can I find that particullar setting in left menu and how does that command looks like?
Thank you.
Quickset is just an UI that runs a script which applies some predefined configurations.
So such thing as “router mode” doesn’t exist outside of quickset.
Additionally, once you have made any config changes to your router, you should NEVER use QuickSet. QuickSet will happily overwrite your changes for you.
I know what QuickSet does. Most of QuickSet settings i found in left main menu and also in commands. I just cannot find that particullar command which defines mode of router. If command for router mode even exists.
I am not using QuickSet. I’ve used it once and now i want that particullar setting set through terminal via commands,
It’s not any config option you’d need to set somewhere else. It just tells Quick Set what predefined config it should apply.
If I got it right, mode of router just filters settings in quickset common for particullar purpose. So when I want to make a script, it doesn’t matter.
