Router on a stick on CRS1xx VLAN working but no internet for VLAN

Hello forum,

I am trying to use my S109-8G-1S-2HnD-IN as a switch + WLAN.
All the VLANS gateway are not on the S109-8G-1S-2HnD-IN
I am using router on a stick setup, meaning i use a trunk port with tagged VLANS to feed the mikrotik the VLANS.
I want to use other ports as access port for one of the VLANs

I am using ether1 as unsigned VLAN7 as WAN, i am using ether2 as trunk for supplying the VLANS
ether3 untagged VLAN2
ether4 untagged VLAN7
ether5 untagged VLAN9
ether7 and ether8 untagged VLAN7

When i use my wired connection on the laptop i can connect to host connected to the S109-8G-1S-2HnD-IN.
When i disable wired connection and just use wifi i can connect to internet, but hosts connected by wire to S109-8G-1S-2HnD-IN cannot

Questions:

  • How do i make internet connection possible for the VLANS with the current setup? So connectivity for VLAN7 to 192.168.7.1 | vlan 9 via 192.168.9.1
  • I would like to know if its possible to let the wifi be enabled in VLAN7 so connectivity is transparent instead of natting from 192.168.88.0/24
  • I am now using ether1 as WAN, and ether2 as trunk, is it possible to use 1 port for wan and trunk

    Thx in advance for assistance

I see the MT device,
I see its really desired as an AP / Switch.

Can confirm its does no DHCP and just accepts vlans and distributes them to the right devices ??
Assuming you have ONE subnet where all the smart devices get their IP from (managment vlan) and if so which one is that.

Oops I see you are using switch chip method, my bad I am only familiar with bridge vlan filtering.

After some consideration i am implementing routed VLAN according to this page:

isn’t the wiki the correct place for v6 info?

Probably.
