Router OS 3.0 in production environment

Hi all,
is anybody using ROS 3.0 in production environment?
Is it stable enough?

RGDS

I have it in about 10 differant production networks. Including ones with 200+ PPPoE sessions, ones with over 300meg thougput, and networks with 400+ route routing tables.

The 13 with the https hotspot was a big one. We have a number of hotspots running it as well.

So, according to you, ROS 3.0 is out of its beta phase…

Its getting really really close hows that! lol

May I ask you what are, in your opinion, main benefits of ROS 3.x compared to ROS 2.9.x (just a couple of lines)?

Well the hardware benefits are big.

Multi-Processor Support
Support for greater RAM
Large Web-Cache Support >32 gig

Those right there are big ones in the higher in units. What I deal with mostly.

Software wise:
Great improvements in WinBox
more options
Layer7 stuff I believe is only in v3
Bridging of multiple tunnel types
more options and information in winbox
better command line information (colors)
MLPS is also in there
interface routing as well

Just some things to think of off the top of my head.

I think I’ll move to it in short times, I’m really interested by firewall level7 on p2p identification and shaping.
Currently I simply mark known traffic (smtp, http, https, etc…) based on dest port, but custom application are not matched so almost every day customers ask for new ports to be opened. Hope that firewall level7 might help with this…
Thanks,
Rgds
