Router OS doesnt want to change date

Hi,
I have few times experience on some router os that doesn’t like the time or date being changed.

Just got the new router board with v3.0rc6 installed, still the same, time & date not changed.



[admin@MIKROTIK] /system clock> pri
            time: 07:10:46
            date: jan/01/1970

you have to use NTP to get date/time. The RB’s don’t have battery, so manual settings are not stored.

oh won’t it lose all the settings while it doesn’t have any battery :smiley:
