Can anyone help me with an OSPF and PING question?
I have three routers
A <——> B <——>C
I have ip tunnels between A & B, and also B & C
I’m running IPSec on each of the two tunnels.
I’m also running OSPF on all three routers.
OSPF seems to be working fine.. I can see the routes come up and I can winbox from router A to router B or C successfully.
However, I can not seem to successfully ping from router A to router C.. Router A to router B works fine.
Anyone have any idea about what I might have overlooked, or have encountered this before?
Thanks in advance..

Have you verified that router C actually has a route back to whatever source address router A would choose? Have you manually set the source address to verify that ping works when choosing a source address router C does have a route back to?

Good questions, but as I said, I can winbox into router “C” from router “A”.
And as a double check, I can also successfully connect using the web interface from router “A” to router “C”.
I don’t believe I could have done that without having a return route, right?

Whoops. Missed that. Routes are OK then. Firewall filters? IPSec rules covering ICMP?
