RB’s keep rebooting !!! I cant see uptime like 1d , 20hr ..
Mikrotik team should take care of this BIG Problem ..
I saw it with RB333 and RB600 , whatever the setup is , doesnt matter how many minipci installed ..
I have several RB600’s with uptime around 40 days.
Are you using a RouterBoard or PC?

One of my RB333’s started locking up every 10 minutes today, almost to the second. The only way to fix it was to power it off for around 15 seconds and then turn it back on again. I tried removing some of the cards, turning off the watchdog, changing the password (thinking Dude might be affecting it), upgrading the firmware from 3.6 to 3.7, but nothing really helped. At the 10 minute mark, the CPU Usage would go to 100% and it would lock up. One time, it made it past the 10 minute mark, but died before it got to 15 minutes.
Finally, after a few hours of messing with it, I replaced it with an RB532, which seems to have fixed the problem (uptime of 35 minutes as I type this).
This unit has been in service for a month or so, with no problems. It is in an attic, and the temperature outside got up to 80+ degrees today for the first time, but I have had other RB’s and SBC’s in that attic through the hottest summer days over the last 4 years with no problems.
I’ve a RB411, was running 3.6 … would reboot randomly, sometimes every 10 mins. I’ve downgraded to 3.4, to see if it sorts the problem.
What is the current, rock solid version … only simple functionality needed (route, wireless AP)?

Thanks Chupaka, I’ve done that and sergejs says they will fix it in the new release [3.8].
I am using the web proxy but I found it to be too slow so I’m not using the caching functionality, just the redirection.
I have a RB333 its one of some RB333’s are running well , its locked everyday at tje same time 11:00 AM , rebooting by power restart , untill when the sun go down .. the temp after 11:00 am is hitting 50 C !!! does this matter ??
and how can we measure the temp of the routerboard ? is there any way to do it ?
another problem with rb411 , at morning also , almost the same period of time , its not locking , but it disconnect the wireless link as its working as a client ..
both are ver 3.4 which i found better than the newer versions ..

Ok worked out eventually (only took a month!) what the problem was. Turned out that whenever my receptionist turned on her PC, the router would reboot. Can you believe it?
Anyway it’s good that for once it’s not RouterOS.
