I am set on switching from pfSense home built to a mikrotik router. I will get a 1Gbit symmetric fiber connection within the next few weeks. I do need OpenVPN and Policy based routing for streaming HD content from my home country overseas as well as other applications incl. a road warrior access. I also need to throw out my 24 port TP-Link router as it has given up working recently. So I am torn between buying a CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ & CRS125-24G-1S-RM or a single CCR1016-12S-1S+ which would come only a bit more expensive than the combination.
What do you think would make more sense for an environment with ~10 clients running simultaneously.
