At our company we use the CCR1036 routers across our wireless network. These routers connect to ubiquiti or netonix switches. We run hotspot and ppoe services on each router, which also run bgp and ospf(not large, 1 neighbour per router). They connect to a fairly large layer 2 network with about 450 ppoe sessions, 1200 neighbour devices and another 1000 access devices making use if the hotspot.
We frequently(once a week) reboot the router due to the hotspot function not redirecting to our splash page. Has anyone experienced this same performance/issue. I have never needed to reboot routers as often and feel something is off here.
