Router Reset Weirdness

I updated a remotely located Mikrotik 3.x x86 router to 4.x then to 6.9. After the update it had some weirdness in the webconfig. Had old 3.x version or something of webfig when you went to IP with webrowser. So I did a reset defaults and told it to run this script afterwards.

/ip address
add address=192.168.5.5/24 interface=ether1 network=192.168.5.0
/ip route
add distance=1 gateway=192.168.5.1

Now I cannot connect with winbox. I can ping it. When I go to its IP with webrowser it just shows apache 2 default page now. I can connect with putty and SSH but it wont accept any username or password combination that I have tried. Since it was just reset it should be admin with no password I would think.

Its remotely located so I cannot look at it directly right now but fortunately its not critical for anything. Any ideas for getting back into it or is the install just trashed?

My best answer would be netinstall… which sucks because you are remote. But it sounds like something is just wrong in the config.
