I have a MikroTik - CRS125-24G-1S-RM and I’m just going to use it as a switch behind a RB3011UiAS-RM. What would be the optimal setup to use it as just a switch? I see the setting under Quick Set between router and bridge but I’m not sure if this should be changed.
Forget quickset. Remove the config, make all ports slaves to one of them and that’s all.
Leave it in “Router” mode unless you need Bridge features like STP. If you only need one VLAN, slave all ports to port 1 (or any port really) and enjoy!
