Routerboard 1100 VLAN Tagging

HI !

I have a RB1100.

I try to solve a problem that is very simple with a switch.

My port 1 is connected to a switch from witch i get untagged traffic
but also Tagged traffic (several VLAN).

The untagged traffic should be received by rb1100 itself.

Traffic received on VLAN55 from ethernet1 should be bridged to ether2, but
traffic should go out untagged to ether2.
when traffic is coming from ether 2 should go out on ether1 tagged on VLAN55

The same from ether3 connected to VLAN66

Any help is really appreciated.

Regards
Tom

So Ether1 is going to be your trunk?

1.) Create all VLANs on Ether1
2.) Make a Bridge for each VLAN
3.) Assign VLAN55 and Ether2 to the VLAN55 bridge
4.) Repeat for all other VLANs

Yes ether1 is my trunk.

I’ll try what you saggested.

Thanks,
Tom
