RouterBOARD 133C question

Hi,

I got a RouterBOARD 133C for free from a co-worker. Since I am fresh out of mini-PCI WiFi cards and have no use for a router with a single network port I’m wondering if I can add add at least one more network port by either soldering a jack to the solder pads on the board or a jumper cable with a RJ-45 on one end.

I doubt this would work. It would be much simpler to get a miniPCI wifi card and use it as a simple AP or CPE device

Does RB133C work as AP ?

Yes, but only for 1 client. RB133C have Level3.
Only some “luck” pieces have level4

IMHO Level3 = only Client to other AP.

You can use a smart switch and VLANs…
