I cranked up my brand new RB 230 (bios 1.3.4, router OS 2.8.26) and promptly changed the serial speed in the BIOS to 115200. On reboot, it beeps and I get nothing. If I connect at 9600 and reboot, I see “Checking Disk Integrity…” after a few seconds, but then I have to disconnect and reconnect to see the RouterOS console. I tried setting the RouterOS serial console baud-rate to 115200 and was also met with gobbledy-gook. Interestingly enough, though, I was able to log in and type “system reset” and get it working at 9600 again, but the BIOS still doesn’t show anything. Ideas?
