i have over 20 units majority if not all running 2.9.38 and all working fine but one newly installed. This one has 3 cm9s and 2 8602 but one is disabled. I have noticed that i can telnet into the unit and all is fine, but the minute i try to log on winbox the system just reboots. Anyone seen this before? Thanks
If you are talking about RB532,
2 high power wireless cards + 3 regular will not work, as RB500 does not have enough power for them.
Also these wireless cards are not recommended to use with RB500, check the multiple topics in the forum. Use another high power wireless cards, if you need. Right now RB500 is able to handle 2 high power wireless.

i am using an rb233 and i have the same setup elsewhere, but that works fine. I have made one observation that when it enters the reboot mode of costantly rebooting, the dc injector gets very very hot. Also note that one of these 8602 cards is disabled and not active. Any suggestions
What do you mean by RB233 ?
Could you post images or link on routerboard.com page of the board ?

I meant the old rb200 series. Though I eventually found out that the nmp-8602 card I was using, I believe was faulty as when I removed it, the rebooting stopped.
