I’m running RouterOS 3.7 on a Routerboard 333 with 3x R52.
And my CPU load jump from 70% to 100% (about an average of 50% on graph)
I’ve try’d to reboot alot of times, but it just jumps to a 100% again after it reboots.
But when i disable wlan2 i falls for a bit, then after some time it’s a 80% again.
And there is no trafic!

wlan1 - as 2,4GHz b/g - ap bridge
wlan2 - as 2,4GHz b/g - ap bridge
wlan3 - as 2,4GHz b/g - station
bridge1 = ether1 + wlan2 + wlan3
IP:
wlan1 = 10.1.0.1/8
DHCP client1 = bridge1
DHCP server on wlan1 serving from: 10.255.255.1 to: 10.255.255.250
What can be the problem?
(RouterOS really needs a task manager of some sort)
Iam also experiencing strange CPU load when there isnt any traffic going through the RB333. The CPU load is 0% to 5% for 3 minutes, and then it will goes up to 20%-70% for the next 60 seconds, then down again to 0%-5%. Iam monitoring the cpu load via sshl.
The MRTG CPU load graph shows max 30% and average 15%.
I dont know what is causing this strange cycle. Upgrading bios to 2.14 (From 2.10) does not help. ROS upgrade to 3.7 does not help either.
My setup is as follows :
-simple bridge between ether1 and 3 Wireless card(2 R52H, 1 CM9)
-one private IP assigned to the bridge
no wireless client.
wireless card all set to 0 tx power.

Please help. I need to put this RB into production soon.
In my case, I discovered that it is also one of the R52H that’s causing the high CPU load. Whenever that offending R52H is in B/G or G-only mode, CPU load problem will appear. I have never tested it with 5ghz, but I know switching to B-only mode or using 5mhz channel width will solve the problem.
I doubt it is a card problem, since Qpox and I are using 2 different cards. Will someone from MT comment on this please ?
Yep, that’s it. Problem gone, set adaptive-noise-immunity to ‘No’ and cpu load at 0% most of the time,even at B/G mode. Wasn’t aware of this new setting. Thanks Uldis, you are da man. One more question, is adaptive-noise-immunity suppose to play well with R52H card ?
