Could anyone assit me please? We are experiencing ver weird issues with tow of our 411 boards. They disconnect from our sites late at night (around 9’ish) and only come back online at about 08:30 or 09:00 the next morning. The boards seem to be fine but this keeps happening. Has anyone else ever encountered this?
Yes, but not with that device. Mine ended up being the power supply. I was using a 24v 1A unregulated wall wart, and the output voltage at night went over 28 volts. The router would over-voltage shut down around 11pm until the output voltage of the power supply dropped below 29 volts or so, which was sometime around 5am.
What power supply are you using?
edit: I experienced this same failure with 24 volt solar power, except the fails were during the day from about 11am to around 5pm. I use 12v solar now.
We are using 15V power supplies and have used these same ones all over. Only encountered the problem with 2 clients both using 411 boards. We have changed the power supplies already with still the same result.
I use the RB433 and RB433AH, and they are happy with 12v to 18v supplies, regulated or not. But that does sound like those two RB411 voltage regulators may have failed/bad/incorrect, and are shutting down prematurely. Do you have a 12 volt supply just as a test?
