Routerboard 433GL Ethernet coming off the board....

We’ve just experienced a problem with some of our RB433GL boards. All three of the ethernet ports will rip off the solder points if we use our Cat6 cable.

We are trying to upgrade some of our backhaul links that can push more then 100mbps to these RB433GL’s and have had no prolonged success. After a day, or less the boards lose the power, and today when i got these boards back into the office, I was able to inspect them. The boards right behind the Ethernet ports are becoming un-soldered.

We are using the Cat 6 cable. Which might be a tad to stiff for this application. It looks like at the front of the ethernet ports on the bottom has this little clip to “force or hold it down” on the board. However the ethernet ‘stiffness’ is pulling them off, and forcing it to break.

Also, once I got the boards in the shop here, I installed a R5SHPn into the board which is what most of our backhauls have in them. This actually heated up a chip on the board to a red hot case, and smoke was bellowing off this chip. The chip is located about a inch above the reset spot(TP309) and a quarter of a inch to the right. The chip on the top of it has “LSC LSP5503 1024H6” written on it.
We’ve also tried to use the DBII dual polartiy 3Ghz radio(I dont have product number and or couldn’t locate a link on their website) and got the same results of a burning chip.

Im not sure if anyone else is having these issues, or maybe it is just us.
