Routerboard 532 and daughterboard 564

Currently have 1xSR2 and 1xSR5 card on RB532, as well as a compex WLM54AG on the daughterboard 564. I need to get another radio on this setup… Reading forums suggests that going on max power of the verious radios (SR cards each consuming 4.3W), it looks it would be a bad idea to try another compex WLM54AG on the same daughterboard… which means it would be 1x SR2, 1x SR5, 2 x WLM54AG. If not, how bout removing the SR2 and replacing it with a WLM54AG… so 1 x SR5, 3 x WLM54AG

Its a pretty important basestation, i experimented once with adding a WLM54AG with the SR2 and SR5 cards. I’m not sure if adding another WLM card will be worth it. This basestation serves some very important clients.

Current RB500 power consumption is 14W, 2-3W is used by RouterBOARD, other power is used for extension cards, you can caclucate how much card will work stable on RB500.

how many watts does teh R52 burn? Looking at the spec sheet it only provides the mA pull.

Multiply by bus voltage, 3.3V, make sure your units are right (1A=1000mA).

It provides max I (mA) and V (V), you can calucate power by I*U=P.
