Routerboard 532: can't be managed anymore

Hello everyone,

I’ve a big problem with a RB 532 ( with an old firmware 3.12 ) . I had a HotSpot issue on this RB because of a full memory problem. I’ve take the RB back to my office to do a reset config to make a new configuration on it…but, even all led are blinking correctly, i can’t manage this RB. What was happened? I’ve tryed to manage it by serial console and even an hardware reset ( by using a paper clip on jumper J1 )..but nothing happens…Do anyone have any ideas about this?

I think on the 532 boards you have to make the connection on jp1 AND press the reset button.

I think those use the reset button but jumper 1 makes it connected so make sure you do both at same time

Hello kbyrd…I’ve tried to do your solution but unfortunately doesn’t work. I’ve tried to take the connection on jp1 and then hold press reset buttom, i’ve tried to hold press reset and then on j1..i’ve tried both simultaneously, but nothing seems to work..Motherboard blue LED is lit but even the ethernet led are still lit (and I’ve tried to connect my pc at all the ethernet port E1, E2, E3 ). I’m starting to think there’s something of broken on it…Do you have any idea?
