RouterBOARD 532 keeps Rebooting

Greeting everyone,

I am new in this forum and hope to have a nice time with you guys. I am currently have a problem with the new radio i just deployed (RouterBOARD 532) it keeps rebooting randomly, lets say 2 mins 2hours 53mins pls i really need your help. I have actually disabled watch dog tho am running 3 miniPci card(atheros 5413) on the box with the help of a daughterboard, am running a cable of about 160fts with a 48volts POE, i actually tested it onground and the behavious is still thesame. Thank you inadvance for your help.

are they nmp-8602 cards?? i would guess so.

I’ll just make it simple: Those are not supported on the RB-532.

read around.

If you are not using the 8602 its prob. that you are trying to pull too much power from the 532’s Power supply. how does the unit preform with only one or two cards in it?

I think I will disagree there for a sec, just use them in the following pattern:

Either 1 NMP-8602 and max 3 CM9s - or 2 CM9s + NL2511MP
Or 2 NMP-8602 at default power setting

And Better use 12 Volt as you will skip the extra weaker circuit on the board - Compare the 532 to 511 and you will understand what I mean!

Thanks Guys, i will try using two cards and watch the behaviour, i will let you know if it works, i hope i will not have to change the cards, thank you once again simonkizi and jo2jo
