With the routerboard 500 seriers, am I still able to perform functions such as blocking all outgoing traffic on 25 except to my mail server? I noticed the 200 series boasts firewall, but not the 500 series.
the RB200 and 500 series use RouterOS a network operating system developed by the fine people here at Mikrotik. They have the same software capabilites, but differ in hardware and interface types.
so to answer your question, yes, they both can firewall.
