I have a situation where i have around 20 users on a 2Mb/s download speed. What i need is user manager to limit the amount of time that each MAC is online for. They can use the internet for a couple hours daily. Currently its a free for all, and users are doing windows updates, p2p, skype video and all kinds of bandwidth hogging activities. what i need to know is if the routerboard 750 can operate the user manager with up to 20 users and do bandwidth limitation. I know that the rb750 uses MIPS architecture wich is what user manager needs, what i dont know is that there is also a HDD requirement of 2MB and wether or not the RB750 can support the user manager software. If there is better hardware suited to this job then maybee i should be looking at it instead of the RB750.
Any input would be appreciated.
