Hi. I know that both products mentioned in subject have hardware switching capability.

My question is how to enable a single DHCP server for all ports? Only way I’m aware of is bridging all the ports together and assigning DHCP to the bridge. Doesn’t this defeat the point of using switching? Since I’m assuming all the switching is done in software?? Please help me to understand. Thank you :slight_smile:

No.
When you edit interface properties then you see field “master port”. If you set it to eg. eth2 for all interfaces except WAN one then you will have wire-spedd switching for these “mastered” ports. Remember that since then all these ports look like the eth2 port in the meaning of MAC address.
