I have a routerboard 750G. I used routerOS v4.x then I upgraded to v5.0 when it was released.
As the 5.1 came out I upgraded as usually, then I noticed my internet speed decreased dramatically.
I have 120/10 mbps connection, that’s why I bought the 750G with gigabit ports. With routerOS v4.x and v5.0 everything was fine:
test results were totally good: 100-120 mbps download and 10 mbps upload.
After upgrading to 5.1 (then to 5.2) my speed decreased to a maximum 30-35 mbps download, the upload was still 10 mbps.
First I thought my ISP has some trouble in their services, but then I disconnected the 750G and connected my computer directly with the
cable modem. Everything was fine again without the routerboard.
So I tried to figure out what can be the problem. I downgraded the routerOS to v4.17 and the internet connection speed was OK again: 100-120mbps/10mbps.
Then I tried to upgrade again to 5.2, the speed decreased again dramatically: 30-35mbps/10mbps, so I downgraded to 5.1, with the same problems. After downgrading 5.1 to 5.0 everything is fine again (just like with 4.17 and other 4.x).
Please give me some advice what should I do to fix this problem, maybe this is a bug in 5.1+ ?!
