Hi,
I tried to set up my brand new router with the quick setup yesterday. I choose CAP and entered the static IP (192.168.1.1) and the rest of the fields. After pressing “Save” I coonfigured my Laptop with 192.168.1.50 and connected by cable on port 2 then 3 then 5. I could ping MikroTik abd can also see that the byte statistics on the networkinterface count up, but couldn’t connect by browser or ssh.
So I wanted to Reset the router following the instructions →
- Unplug power
- Press reset button (in hole) and hold it
- Connect power and wait until ACT flashes
ACT never flashed and I tried mutliple other version I found in the forum like → plugin power and press rest after Act lights …
I’m stuck since I’m not able to connect to the board anymore. Any ideas waht coud be wrong?
