Now that my site2site ipsec problem is solved..here comes my next one (o;
I have setup a debian 9 system to be used as ipsec vpn server where remote users can connect and all internet traffic is routed through it…
Now when I setup in routeros a ppp l2tp/ipsec client it can connect to the system as well…but no traffic is routed through it..
either with specific prefixes set to the vpn gateway nor when the “Add Default Route” is checked…
Hmm..I assume as macOS doesn’t do a PPP l2tp/ipsec connection…as I don’t the the ppp0 interface when connecting through it…
only with routeros I see the ppp0 interface…guess some masquerading is missing then…
Or is there another option to use routeros as an ipsec/xauth client?
Okay..can’t test any further…RB750Gr-3 just died after changing an ipsec policy…
No more answer from pings to 192.168.88.1, no more webfig, no traffic…ony dhcpd seems to be working…
Rebooted several times…nothing…dead…gone…
