Make sure you NTP servers actually work, I picked some public ones which worked, but for some reason MK didn’t like them and it wouldnt update the time. So if it doesn’t work, try some more.

There seems to be a deference between ntp package client and default ntp client. So if you don’t need ntp server feature uninstall ntp package and see if you can sync-up.

Check http://www.pool.ntp.org/en/ for public servers, other lists are available via Google.
