hi i downgrade my rb951ui-2hnd to ros 5.26 from 6.33 to use wifi usb but after reboot it went bricked i try to install ros by netinstall and unfortunately it’s not work when i select routerboard and click to install noting happen instantly status back to ready i use diffrent netinstall and different ros but all to no avail
hi does uart and jtag pins are usable for user or this pins are for programming the board in factory and are not accessible for home users,do there is some way to upgrade the routeros to 6 without netinstall i have a spi programmer i thing it’s possible to downgrade routerboot to 3.08 that support ros 5 and unbrick router please a mt expert guide me i am very awkward to buy new mt if i brick that again
Power device off, press and hold reset button, power device on and after about 2 seconds release reset button.
Now device should boot up. Run “/system routerboard upgrade” function and reboot device. Now it should work again.
leds are unresponsive no ping just a beep there is two spi flash one 64kb and a st 1mb what is bootloader where backup bootloader stored this flashs are main or backup
hi i remove the bootloader ic i only need bootloader version 3.08 or bellow to flash it and run please some one upload a dump from previous bootloaders or newer one to testing if bootloader broken to connect to serial console and upgrade firmware in console
