Routerboard configuration file

Hello,

I bought 3 Routerboards RB/411AH.
I am planning to setup one of them.
All 3 will have the same setup.

Can I copy the config file and upload it to the others to earn the same configurations!

/export file=conf

edit conf.rsc to delete unneeded parts, then copy it to other routers and use /import command

unneeded parts are parts that contains Interface mac and IP addresses

not only those. basically all stuff that you don’t want imported in the other machine. maybe you only interested in firewall and queues? who knows?

Hi Normis,

Both networks will be setup the same thus identical.
Both networks are in different areas.
Routerboards will be used to broadcast through omni antennas.
i.e I intend to use the same configuration, same IP block, and same ISP.

you will still need to manually check the config after importing the file. just in case.
