I have just bought the RouterBOARD LtAP-2HnD which according to the spec shet has an open mPICE/USB slot in it. I added the R11e-LoRa8 card to the top slot, but can’t see the card.
Some suggestions say I should try System → Routerboard → USB but I don’t see that option only “USB Power Reset”
Any advice on how I enable the R11e-LoRa8 card in this unit please?
For anyone else struggling with this, I managed to change the USB settings on the command line instead of via Winbox.
/system routerboard usb set type=mini-PCIe
That is exactly the issue I was trying to solve…this worked for me too.

in cases like this just look up the block diagram. it will show whether there’s a possibility to switch between ports/slots/interfaces.
In my case I did use the block diagram and did use the correct slot. I just could not find a way to set the USB from the external port to use the pcie slot when using winbox.
