i have 2 RB2011 1 uas-rm routers and i want to connect them with a fiber cable.
RB2011 → sfp module → st cable to LC cable ↔ LC cable to st <-sfp module <-RB2011
cant get it to work. can you give me some tips with this configuration isseu ?
What type of SFP’s are you using at both ends? Do they show up on the miktotik under the SFP option under the SFP interface?
Are you getting a link ? Send/Receive around the right way?
I’ve used a large number of different types of SFP’s with mikrtik’s and they don’t seem to be fussy at all.
some modules not so compatible with rb2011 
what status report rb about them ?
Try to force speed on one side of the link.
Do you know the basics of fiber ?
single mode / multimode , max distance, are the fibers crossed ?
Does it work in a other device ?
If i try somethong new i buy at least 1 or 2 spares …
Till now i have no problems with 2011 and SFP modules (i use mikrotik and opton)
