Routerboard zero config in by pass mode...

Hi buddy…
understand the Mikrotik zero config will work when it under the hotpost or the dhcp mode…

is possible, let say i bridge 2 interface, and below is my connection…

= = User laptop…

what i need it, i want the user once it connect to Gateway server via the routerboard, the routerboard will do the zero config.
this is because some of my client laptop has fixed ip and cannot be change and my Gateway server also cannot be replace due to customer concern…

thus, we need this solution and it involved few ten vlan…

thanks…

You might be able to do something with the Bridget NAT firewall and see what happens by rewriting the dst-mac of the packets. Though your gateway will need to be smart enough to accept traffic and respond on IP addresses it doesn’t necessarily own. Something tells me though that it won’t work well, or it will be a complicated hack to get it working.
