RouterBoard133 + SR9 Strange behavior

I have a weird problem.

I have 2 RB133s and 2 SR9 and 2 XR5.

I can configure the XR5s to talk via a ap bridge and station setup very nicely. However for the life of my I can’t get the SR9s to talk to each other.

Here’s the weird part, using the same setup as the XR5, the SR9s can see each other if I do a ‘scan’ from the Interface menu… but they never connect or communicate.

Furthermore, if I sniff, I can see packets of data from each, beacon from one, request from another.

The Noise floor hits -98 to -100. (They are one bench)

I can not ping one SR9 from the other, basically times out.

Lastly, the SR9 never reports that it is ‘running’ it is always slightly grayed.
I’ve tried each of the freqs listed elsewhere in the forum.

Any ideas?

Thanks so much,

Ricky

btw, just to reiterate, I can get XR5 to work nicely… just not the SR9

The SR9 has two antenna ports, I was certain I had set the antenna port correctly… and maybe had, but once I switched the anntenna to the other port and switched the software setting, everything worked.

It may be that the main antenna port/connector was broken.. either way the AUX antenna port/connector works and the data rate is very good… on the bench anyway.
