Hi,
i’m trying to install routerOS 3.22 as a virtual machine. After i’ve selected “system”, “dhcp” an “hotspot”, i answer “n” to the question “do you want to keep old config…” and i answer “y” when it asks “continue”, at this moment it stops to respond and it does nothing else.
I’m using an IDE disk (5GB), 256MB ram, 2 nic, i’m installing from the iso connected to the virtual cd rom. Is there something i must change in “guest operating system version”? I set linux red hat (the default)
Can anyone help me?
Thank you.
Here in futurville i haven’t a pc for experiment in this moment, and however, this is not the point. Thanks anyway for the effort man.

Yes, it seems that you can’t install RouterOS v3.22 on VMW right now, but you can install v3.13 (available on our webpage) and then upgrade to v3.22. It works that way.
Ok thanks, i’ll try starting from 3.13 version
And what about 4.0 beta2, same problems?
yes, it seems
