Hello guys has anyone tried the routing module for BGP on RouterOS v3.25. My systems are due for update next week has anyone tried it with multible peers ???
I was forced to upgrade my bgp routers to 3.25 due to some bug with a newer version of Cisco routers, that was triggered after one of my upstreams upgraded their routers. So far, it seems stable. I haven’t stress-tested it, but my routers are stable, and that’s what counts for me ![]()
yes, i have some rb/1000 with ROS 3.25 and multiple peers. it work. some small problem but it’s ok, 3.24 is very bad. ![]()
How many peers do you have active. I have 5 and they cause a lot of problems when the other end uses cisco bgp v3.

On a RB/1000 i have 3 IPv4 and 1 IPv6 peer with 3 ipv4 full table and 1 ipv6 full table, without trouble (only some lag when i change some filter or similar..)
Only some lag?
Previously, on 3.24, my peerings would go down if I changed any filters. Is this not the case with 3.25? I’ve been too paranoid to test it out myself ![]()
There are Cisco BGP compatibility issues fixed in this release.
I’ve the problem with 3.16 (routing-test and normal routing) peering with cisco.
When the peering cisco resets the bgp session to an other peering this cisco
forgets our announcement. So I have to do a manual “Resend” on 3.16.
This fixes the problem immediately. As this ciscos have no problems with other
ciscos this seem to be a ROS-Cisco issue.
Is this fixed in 3.25?
I’m using 2 RB1000 to different ciscos (redundant peering). Each of them has
this problem. Peerings are directly connected by Ethernet.

I believe there is a problem with Junipers as well not ciscos. Plus my peers keep crashing once a week. And the errors I get in the logs are not informative at all.
Next time I’ll send an spout to support.
