RouterOS 3.6 password recovery

Hi,

I have a x86 board running routerOS 3.6 this was taken out of a site where the company who installed it went bust, I don’t have the login username or password.
Is there any way of getting the password from the CF card when reading it in linux.

idealy I would like the configuration and or the licence key from the CF card.

Any way ?

There is no recovery procedure, but you can reinstall to clear all settings including password.

It works. I did test it on x86.

BS. In this case he has no use of the previous configuration at all. Easier is to netinstall or CD install. He will configure it somewhere else anyway! Or same place but different ISP. Logics…
