RouterOS 4.6 Ethernet problems!

Hi all,
My company uses RB433 for hotspot systems. But i find some problem when we tried to uses RO 4.6 with RB 433.
I want to set bandwidth of my Ethernet interface. But when i change bandwidth of any interface from Winbox its disappeared when i log off from machine. When i was log in again Interface bandwidth return Unlimited speed!
I was it from terminal screen but nothing has been changed.

Is there anybody that have same problem? Because i tried same thing with another RB433 and RO 4.6 we have same problem.

Dont use this feature. It is supposed to work on certain interfaces I guess. Like some RBs depending on chipset.

Packet Queues are the thing to use in these cases anyway. But they are built with great skill by great specialists like myself. So. :slight_smile:

Use the “Queue Simple” feature :slight_smile: Thats the simplest alternative to the interface speed limit.

Hi Network_Pro,
We have RB 433 and this machine have such chipset. I am use this feature for limiting my customer for 1.5 year with RB150 and ROS 3.30 without problem.
But this problem newly appeared on ROS 4.6 and RB433.
Am tested with RB133 and ROS 4.4 it’s worked perfect..
I gave bug report to mikrotik about this issue.
I think it’s fixed on next version..
