RouterOS 5.0beta6 License failed: Invalid request received!

Hi I just upgraded RB600 routeros to v5.0beta6. Then it showed me window to update license key, but it shows that it failed.

The router is connected to internet. (I cant update license on it expires in 1 days) :confused: :frowning:

It’s irrelevant if the router has Internet access, the computer running Winbox has to have Internet access. Did it? If yes, contact support at support@mikrotik.com.

The router and the computer running winbox are connected to the internet. The RB600 is a remote location I cant update license on it expires in 16 hours !!

Did you contact support?

there’s no ‘failed’ on the screenshot :slight_smile:

I was going to suggest you downgrade it if you can’t get the license updated in time, but from that screenshot it appears it has no license at all.

The problem is not with the procedures. Your router Does not Have a key to update.
Please send me your supout.rif file and I will make a new key for it.

actually do not see the description License Failed because I ran the screenshot before groped update the license key. sorry!

Hello, I’ve the same problem. My MT works OK with version 3.30 and license was OK, but after update to v5 there is no licence and now it stop working because of 24h linit. I’ve written to support, but I haven’t got any answer yet. I don’t know waht to do? Trying to downgrade to 3.30 and use old key? But what happen if it will not help? Do You have any suggestions? update your key in v3.30: in WinBox, go to System → License, and press Update License Key

I’m having the same issue - this RB133 has working onsite for 2+ years then out of the blue it goes offline. Really bizarre. Click on the "License update " Key and it says that the license is up-to-date. This was operating as an AP-Brg. Lvl4 - now no listed license.

OK - even stranger - I pulled an old RB112 off the self to temporarily replace the previous board/license failure and - guess what - after installing v3.30 it now says that there is no license. Are the servers down on your side MT???

license server is not contacted unless you specifically push that button. if you lost your license, that’s because the reinstall went wrong. email support with the supout.rif file and they (me) will give you a new key for the RB
