RouterOS 6.5 problems

Hi im new to routerOS! I have been using RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN for about a year i think and every update woked fine. With the last update my router failed to upgrade. All i did was transferd the routeros-mipsbe-6.5.npk update and rebooted. Router rebooted and installed the new update. Then i went uder the option system and clicked on routerboard afteh that i clicked upgrade! Firmware upgraded ok. After that i rebooted the router and what it does is loads till it is shown on lcd ‘’ starting services’’ and then reboot itself. Afer reboot it is stuck at ‘‘loading kernel from nand’’. I was upgrading with winbox.

To solve the problem i tried the netinstall (pressing the reset button) and uploading a fresh .npk update with netinstall-6.5 and it still stops at ‘‘loading kernel from nand’’.

I also have RB951-2n and the new 6.5 update worekd just fine!


Any proposals?

Which version of RouterOS and RouterBOOT did you have before this?

Please try to “Format NAND” from the RouterBOOT menu. Then re-attempt Netinstall. You should make sure that the Netinstall tool is also downloaded from our webpage (a new version of Netinstall)
