RouterOS and The Dude

Hey,
Can someone tell me if you can run RouterOS and The Dude simultaniously on the same machine?

Many Thanks!

The Dude requires Windows. Windows is a Operating System, just like RouterOS. You can’t run two operating systems at the same time.

In RouterOS v3.0 we will have the dude package which will allow you to run dude server together with RouterOS.

Is 'The Dude; available in the V3 Beta version? I have looked but there doesn’t seem to be any mention of it?

The “Dude” server package comed down with the 3.X beta packages but there is no interface to it yet (that I can find) and the “Dude” client that I have installed cant connect to it.

MikroTik’s stand on it is that it is NOT available for testing yet..
(From what I have seen posted…)

It is coming… in RouterOS Ver3.X (server side on router)
The client will still require windows (or an emulation)

I guess the package is just a teaser …
