Hi,
I managed to set up my RouterOS to connect to an OpenVPN server, but i’ve got a performance issue due to the lack of UDP support by RouterOS.
Is there any information avaliable as to when RouterOS will support UDP?
Thanks, kind regards,
Daniel

Discussed many times:
Hi, thanks for your response. I had used the search, but since all the posts where pretty old, I thought there would be any news on it.
So, which is the preferred way to go? I’m running a Debian based VPS in the cloud, and want a secure (and reasonably fast) connection with my LAN. OpenVPN is working fine when installed as a server on the VPS, but TCP with the MikroTik client is making it terribly slow. 2MB/s vs 6MB/s, 100 HTTP connections in 14 sec vs 4 sec.
The post you pointed me to mentioned SSTP being the “replacement” for OpenVPN, but it’s hard to find any resources to install a SSTP on Debian, and Android doesn’t support SSTP, so this is not a good solution.
What type of solution could you recommend me?
Just tried installing racoon on the VPS for IPsec connectivity, but it turns out that the kernel doesn’t have the necessary modules. Why on earth wouldn’t you go that extra step to offer OpenVPN over UDP?
