these are same files as in our download page, just distribution method is not HTTP but torrent, so, if you install it - all the usual licensing applies
Does Mikrotik have trouble with download locations. Maybe i can talk to my ISP to obtain a download area for Mikrotik. It will be located in The Netherlands if i can get it aranged.
Downloads should work fine. However Torrent is more flexible isn’t it ?
As it does not depend on specific download mirror location, when there are a lot of seeders, you may get torrent file from multiple locations.
I will have a few machines constantly seeding these just a FYI, several are located off 1000meg connections, one in STL, and one in LA. Just a FYI For everyone that wishes to know.
Now what about users who’s ISPs does not allow Torrents on their networks??? Just a thought.
Email states:

Changelog:

Download the new RouterOS release over the torrent network:

Where can I download rc11 now considering Torrents are blocked? Or am I not a important enough customer to use your software?
Please think your decisions through clearly before making rash decisions and changes like this…
As someone that runs quite allot of networks, big and small… I definately do not agree with that. Not a discussion that’s relavent however, so I’m not going to get into that…
limit number of connections and download speed, not available services. I, as a customer, would choose an ISP which offers more services, even if they are controlled.
