RouterOS firmware not upgrading

Hi,

I have a CCR1036-12G-4S that I have been using for a while now and want to upgrade the RouterOS to the latest long-term firmware.

Installed Version: 6.44.3
Long-term Version is 6.45.9

What I did:

  1. Systems>Packages>Check For Updates>Download&Install>Reboot
  2. System>Routerboard>Upgrade>Reboot

When the router reboots it still says Installed Version is 6.44.3 & Latest Version is 6.45.9

Log:

Please help!

Looks like you have a number of packages on our flash storage. Clean these, then try again.

Thanks a lot for your help.

I went to Files from the main menu & removed all the package(.npk) files, then I repeated steps 1&2 which solved my problem.
