We are running RouterOS 5.11 on a Dell Dimension 4700 (actually we have tried four different machines now) to support MUM and a Hotspot configuration.
The system works just fine until we start moving traffic across two Mikrotik SXT5HnD from wireless devices that authenticate to MUM on the PC. The wireless devices authenticate fine and then we have wireless access for about 10 mins at which point the PC freezes and the wireless devices can no longer access the network across the two SXT5HnD devices which are being used a point to point wireless.
It’s been most frustrating and we’ve tried everything that support at our dealers has suggested with no luck. I really don’t know what to try next.
Has anyone experienced such issues and what can we do to test what’s causing the problem. As it is, the system is useless and we would really like to get our fee Hotspot service up and running in our office building.
Any help would be most appreciated.
