RouterOS, Jumbo Frames and MTU (??)

I’ve searched these forums a little and cannot find anyone who has stated whether RouterOS (2.9.44 in my case) supports Gigabit Ethernet Jumbo Frames. I know different NICs/Drivers support it and some don’t, but no-one has said that RouterOS will support MTU greater than 1600 bytes on selected Gigabit adapters. All the hardware I have here says MTU set between 64-1600 bytes (both Wireless & Ethernet) which looks to the uneducated eye like it’s a hard coded limit.

Does anyone know if RouterOS supports Gigabit Jumbo Frames or not?

doubt it
they seem to have an aversion against fragmented netbuf’s (???)
perhaps this will come in 3.0 as the netbuf handling is bound to be improved.
