RouterOS on DELL PowerEdge R310

Hi,
I would like to buy the server DELL PowerEdge R310 to install RouterOS version 4 or 5.

Is there anyone who can tell me if I can install on this hardware:

  • Processore Intel Xeon X3470


  • 4GB Memory (2x2GB Single Rank LV RDIMMs) 1333MHz


  • SAS 6iR Controller


  • 250GB SATA 7.200rpm 3,5"

This hardware is full supported by RouterOS?

It works fine for me on an R210.

However, you can’t install it on the disk in the server. You have to remove the disk, attach it to a desktop, install from CD onto the hard drive, and then move the hard drive back.

Works great… I have a Dell T310 Running RouterOS 5.2, its my border router, several bgp sessions, firewall, and more… 104 days of uptime, no problems at all, very, very stable… but the installation of the RouterOS had to be done via netinstall, direct via CD not works…

I have problems with a RouterOs5.12 R310 to install … I get error when I try it from the CD.
Can not find the disc.
